Our Team - Stephen Bianchi

Stephen Bianchi

Founding Partner, AIA. Stephen’s background in the construction industry and passion to create wonderful spaces are the foundation of his design approach. After graduating from Auburn University Stephen began his career in Atlanta, GA at the office of BLUR Workshop focused on a series of large scale hospitality projects throughout the Southeast.

Stephen’s passion for his work drove the formation of Bianchi Architecture with the purpose of developing client based design solutions, whether development focused or for personal use. At the macro scale, his work focuses on creating a comprehensive process of vision casting/goal setting, collaboration with all parties to a project, and thoughtful documentation to transform client goals to built reality. At a micro scale, each project poses unique challenges in client, context, and program. This requires creative design solutions to satisfy goals and harmonize with aesthetic aspirations to set the desired look and feel for the project. This ability to balance aesthetics, function, and technical requirements are what enable Stephen’s thoughtful design solutions to be tuned to each clients needs and development goals.

Outside the office, Stephen’s love of travel takes him across the globe, furthering his study of architecture and urban environments in each new locale. He furthers his craft through the design and fabrication of custom furniture, and occasionally finds time to hit well above par on the golf course.
