Brookwood Hills Home Remodel.

Nestled within the historic Brookwood Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, this charming 1950’s home suffered extensive damage to the second story addition when a tree fell during a summer storm. As part of the reconstruction design, we took advantage of an opportunity to expand the second floor office/lounge space outside of the master bedroom and provide a more generous transition to the master suite.

The expansion features several new double hung windows which brighten the entire space, including a large outset window above the garage to provide an architectual statement on the front of the home. The material pallate echos the existing home, tying together elements from the original 1950’s structure and the early 2000’s addition.
