A drone tour of the Walk at Piedmont under construction in Marietta: three buildings working with a 30-foot grade change to deliver 60,000 square feet of leasable space on a site first planned for 24,000.

The Walk at Piedmont is a mixed-use commercial development on 5.3 acres in Marietta, Georgia. The original site plan yielded about 24,000 square feet of leasable space. Reorganizing the buildings around the topography instead of against it brought that to roughly 60,000.
This tour was shot mid-construction, so you can see how the three buildings step with the grade and where the two linear parks along Bells Ferry Road sit in the plan.
The full case study covers the site strategy, the parking study that supported a reduced count, and how the tenant mix shaped the storefronts.
